I've run into an issue and not sure how to fix it without completely redoing the embed/role react.
So in the past, I had set up an embed with a list of rules to be accepted before having access to the rest of the server - it worked perfectly fine up until a couple months ago.
Now, you can react/unreact and no roles are added/removed, no access granted to the server, etc.
Does anyone have an idea on why this is happening/a solution to fix?

Does probot ban command have no ability to ban permanently? I currently have it set up with no specified time defined on the io page, but it keeps reporting on my logs that the person was only banned for 3 months when I do not give it the optional time duration input.

I also just noticed that a player I banned to test the time duration option is reporting correctly under "time left" but is incorrectly reported as a 3 month punishment under the io page "mod actions" tab

I banned this person yesterday using the undefined timer which defaults to 3 months. Today I unbanned them and then banned again a little later to experiment with the timer feature by setting it to 30 minutes. It reports time left accurately, but it's reporting the punish time as 3 months still

You need to use something other than the basic prefix. I mean is that if you set the alias to #mute it won't work because # was the bot's prefix, so this one will send messages about moving to / commands. You need to use, for example !mute or anything else

Gday from Australia! New Probot user here. Could someone lend me some assistance as to why some of my reaction roles dont show up?

I created a Welcome embed for welcome channel. Added some reaction roles. Everything worked as expected.

I created 4 role embeds for the roles channel. Added reaction roles to each embed. The embeds show in the channel but the role buttons dont appear.

I believe I created them the same way. The bot has the same permissions in each in channel. What could be the reason why the role buttons dont appear?

I have 3 different embedded messages, 2 of which are correctly showing content and the roles are activating on the emoji click. But the 3rd one will not give the role. I've double-checked that the correct message page is selected as well. All the content is showing and the emojis from the bot are reacted just nothing happens if anyone presses the emoji reaction as well.

The Bot role is absolutely on top. First role.
The roles the welcome embed offers are very close to the bottom. Like 4th last and 3rd last.
The roles embeds roles that arent working are just above the welcome roles. Around 12th last to 5th last.

None of these roles have any permissions. They are underneath the basic access permission role

Question i turned on logs, but for some reason if i change the description of some channels they are not recorded even tho they have the same restrictions. I am still running into the problem of my 3rd auto role embed not giving roles to people. Probot role permissions are all enabled as well as the channel permissions. And creating a new role and shuffling them around didn't help.
I have exhausted all yt video help 😭 I feel like it really should just be working
