Having an issue logging into Probot Dashboard. Been probably a few months since I've done it last but one of the servers I setup is asking for some admin support. Not sure if something has changed?

probot.io/dashboard shows up with the 'You need to login to view this content', but when I "Login Using Discord" It opens up a new window requesting the Authorization on my account. Click 'Authorize' and then it just hangs on the 'api.probot.io/auth' window. Try to eventually refresh that window and get a '{"error":"User bad request"}'

on Chrome, same result with Edge or Opera

Can we not put emojis in embed messages? Its just that if adding a role reaction they can see the icon name when they hover over but they cant know what it means if they pick it until they look at their profile which seems abit back to front. I was hoping when they hovered over they would get the role title not the emoji one. For country flags its fine but for ingame player types, ie like a miner but using a pickaxe emoji for example when they hover over it will say pickaxe not miner etc

Every time I invite the free bot to a new server I swear the entire dashboard breaks for me. My dashboard is telling me I don't have the bot on my main server even though I clearly do and It's working, but I can't make any edits.

Also with the new bot I invited, it's not allowing me to do reaction roles despite the bot's role being the highest in the whole server AND it has complete admin perms. I tried refreshing the page multiple times and no roles are even popping up as an option when creating the reaction/button.

Hi, bot automatically sets permissions for this role by itself, one of the reason why it is not working might be channel permission overwrite
Make sure that all roles in each channel settings have send messages permissions set to neutral and Muted role have this permission set to denied

Ah. I was wondering if it was something like that after I discovered that Hydra had been shut down recently as well. As for the bot not recognizing any roles, it is happening in multiple servers and the bot is definitely a high enough rank.

It can be confusing, you can just understand it as that so you would have to send a message in order to get voice role rewards

The Welcomes and Goodbyes doesn't seem to be working, tested multiple times, bot is highest rank / all permissions, I've tried to do Just the send a message when user joins and leaves as send to channel, and I've tried with Send an image when a user joins the server. Neither seem to be working.

Apparently by editing a channel name or description, followed by a page reset you can "temp fix" it
I say "temp fix" because almost always some of the servers in my list always revert back to that issue

I have been told a while ago that a permanent fix is in the works
but have not seen any news about it sense

2 - Next, go to the Welcome & Goodbye module and enable the welcome you prefer, either text or image, or both!
3 - Finally, make sure to fill out the text box and choose a channel.

Keep in Mind:Welcome images should be less than 3MB in size so that the bot can send them.

Hello, i am having issues with the dashboard of Probot. The Bot is already integrated in our server and working as intended, however when i log into the dashboard it tells me that "This server requires setup".
So when i press continue to Discord, give all permissions, type in my 2fa code, the window closes, it loads for 1 second, than stops and just says "This server requires setup" again. It doesn't forward me to the actual dashboard and i'm stuck.

So, since i woke up so early at 2:30am i decided to pass some time with music and what's better then playing some music via discord am i right?

So, i make my way over to my server and jump on my private VC ready to party. I ran the play command using ProBot to no avail various times.

Ah, Good morning. I have run in to similar issues on multiple other bots as well. One of the things you can do is refresh the page after applying changes to your server.

If that doesn't work, you can remove ProBot from your server and add it back. That should likely fix the issue.

I'm assuming you're referring to Auto responder. I'm not quite sure on how to set it up as i personally never use it. But on dashboard it should be relatively easy.

YouTube will be forced to back down when everyone unites against them. Some may go as far as flocking from all google services to alternative services just to show their stance and hatred towards google

you can make a bot by yourself to play music, they can not do a thing to individuals or private use, but when it comes to teams or groups, they have full right to attack using any way they could, to gain the ground for them to work and make money, all for themselves
and youtube is not alone by itself, it is being carried up by google, which is another big guy. Discord even can not do a thing to protect their users and app developers, which they have to follow and unverify any bot that being flagged by youtube. yes they will still try and leave any working music bot verified until youtube notice and ask them to remove or deactivate the bot

if you don't want to use any other bots out there, you can try to find an open source bot online and host it to use by yourself, it will never be verified if it is not being in much server, which you can ensure the longer usage duration without being noticed by youtube

YouTube and Google are indeed large companies, but even they are not above all. With some research and devotion one could find a way to pin the two companies down and force them to back off. Everyone has a weakness or more then just one, YouTube and Google are no exception to that.

Now Discord potentially could protect their users and apps, however they deliberately choose not to because they're a bunch of sissy cowards. They have enough resources and support to outright send YouTube back to the dino era.

As for Bots aka Apps, i am not a professional developer nor do I know much about coding or any of that bs. I also don't have anywhere to host the bot if i could make one. so that's not really an option for me unless someone actually codes it for me.

The music Apps are more popular on Discord due to the wide range if usage for them ranging from just some music playing to adding music to events and other occasions as well as to providing musical layer to any Discord based podcasts or other similar things.

This is one of the reasons it is important to maintain as many music bots going as possible.

The Music Feature and Music apps will always be on high demand.

When it comes to ProBot, The users of this App often request the music commands to work or report them not working. This is a sign that the community wants music to still be a part of this app.

The team at ProBot recommend me to use SoundCloud bot. Though i do not recommend you to use it. The sound is flat and pretty much bad + i don't think SoundCloud has the actual original versions of the songs, but they have many other varients of any song you may choose. This also decreases their quality.

SoundCloud bot should have more rich and enjoyable sound and quality of services in my opinion.

Once the match begins 10 random people will be selected as team captain out of the queue than th team captains will take turn "@' each player to put on there team

At the top right, click More More.
Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

Just read the help file, it's quite selfexplanatory, remember to give the bot higher priviledge than the role that he needs to control in order to be able to assign certain roles etc.

Question: I added Probot to my server to utilize the self assigning roles and when I went to work on it again, it kept telling me i needed to authorize the bot, after 6 or 7 times of authorizing it, i finally just removed it and re-added it to the server which then let me see the dashboard. I went to create an embed so i could add a button to it for them agreeing to rules of server but it will not show any roles i have. Yes i have it placed above my other roles. I'm just frustrated because it works fine on my other servers.
