• For text, every 2-5 minutes(?) while sending messages will give you an amount of xp from 10 to 40 each time. Which mean after sending a message and gain xp, you will have a cooldown of about 2 minutes, regardless of how many message you sent, it will only count xp after that cooldown and continue
• For voice, about every 2-5 minutes with the xp amount of 10. This is a fixed amount but may be changed while working since I just calculated this pretty long ago. You can just sitting in a voice channel, regardless your voice states, xp will still count after cooldown. But to get reward roles bound to the voice levels, you will need to gain some text xp to trigger bot to update level roles

Alright I wanted to let you all know before ProBot started to get a bad rep for the fake bot

Cause you put tag i guess not the ID. To get ID you need to enable developer mode in Discord settings in the advanced tab (first screen). And copy it by right clicking on the user and click "Copy ID" (second screen)

I'd say between 1-2 hours. I've had multiple people join Discord and ProBot does nothing, yet the welcome message is on, other actions where probot would come in, not working.

I noticed the default role doesn’t always auto apply with new members joining. does it eventually catch up or do I add the default role manually for the ones that are missed?

Beware of xp gain cooldown. They will only get xp after abour 1-2 minutes cooldown. And make sure the bot can see and read messages in the channels
