I am fully convinced at this point that ProBot's dashboard is riddled with bugs, been trying to get the blame app to edit an embed just for it to not edit, tried getting it to send a new message, will not send a new message, I deauthorised my account and resat that up, I now have kicked the app due to all sorts of issues which is now convincing me to go find another free app or is tempting me to find another that has a dashboard that actually works, to top things off! I'm being rate limited when the app actually joined the server? The free ProBot is riddled with all sorts of issues which needs to be fixed on the dashboard side and the site side.

The service is totally fine and good for me, although it can be better with some new changes in the server like events and other activities to entertain us because personally I like to talk to people and meet new friends so do others, but there's racism in some channels when I talk with their languages and I hope you care more about it more as it's against ToS, and I appreciate the efforts the new staff have been taken to improve customer service and multi language availability of the bot and the website too

Personally, my server has been waiting a month to move forward with our renovations due to the self assignable roles being down. My server heavily relies on the drop down menu function. It’s a lot harder to get new members to where they need to be without the feature. I will say I have had a good experience with the support overall, but I feel it is quite the issue that one of probot’s mainly advertised features (self assignable roles) has been down for such a long time and there has yet to be an eta. I feel this is a bad look on the over bots developer team and what you guys are truly focused on. There is no official announcement regarding self assignable roles being down, but there has been work done elsewhere that has much less collateral demand. I know that I am speaking for a lot of people when I say that self roles is an issue causing an inconvenience for a lot of us for the past month and that we’d expect a better response to such. I personally enjoy the bots features a lot and the support team is great. I just wish we could have a better standard with downtime and bug fixes. I know there is no eta and that you guys can’t help that I understand I just wanted to give some honest feedback and some perspective.

I've noticed some exciting new developments! The bot has become quite the challenge, and the human support has also become a bit slow.

  • There are some interesting issues with the credit and rip, etc.
  • The responsiveness of the bot is evolving.
  • The bot shuts down on a weekly basis.
    I'm excited to see what solutions we can find together! I'd love to see the human support improve or even be replaced with support bots. My current rating for the bot is 5/10, but I'm eager to see what we can achieve!

good free features but the bot has become so unreliable in the past month that it makes me want to stop using it. what is worse is the fact that we are getting no updates on these issues at all in #status. when i voiced my concern and how i planned to address the missing features since the initial outage with another server member in DMs, one of the moderators (Dymidless) threatened me saying "did you know that is against our rules" (i checked the rules and there were no applicable rules).

-welcomer outage for 3 weeks (the #status message is only 10 days old but the outage has been 3 weeks for me)

this bot has a lot of useful free features! many servers use it for a majority of their bot tasks bc its so versatile and has everything you need all in one bot. i really enjoy this bot and i want to be able to use the features that are currently down, i am trying open a new server i’ve created and i’ve been waiting 3 weeks and nothing has been fixed it’s very disappointing.

the amount of issues and downtimes that occur with this bot makes it seem unreliable.

we understand that some issues are inevitable and happen to many bots. regardless with the large number of servers that use this bot, you would think issues would be fixed faster and that the bot would be better upkept by their team.

we should be told more details about what these issues are and more frequently updated on an estimated time they may be fixed by. leaving users wondering when they can even get back to using this bot without any information isn’t very helpful.

i think that the admins and moderators in this server are trying their best to give answers and updates. i appreciate their hard work❤️ but something needs to be done with updating users on downtimes and other bot issues. i want to use this bot but i agree i’ve been contemplating trying to find another one that’s actually functioning so i can open my server sooner. yet i can’t seem to find one that has as many free features LOL

so please get this bot up and running again!🫶🏻

In the auto responder section, set it up that multiple words can be under the same exact setting preferences, responses, (and give them an exceptions slot to ignore it 'when', not just channel exceptions,) set it up in trigger batches/groups, instead of ONE, WORD, AT, A, TIME individually.

بوت ممتاز من كل النواحي لكن يوجد عدة مشاكل الي هي مشكلة الموقع +الاعطال الكثير تقريبا كل اسبوعين يعطل البوت لكن يتم اصلاحه في وقت سريع ونشكر المطورين على ذلك لكن بالامس تعطل البوت والان له معطل حوالي ال20ساعه وهذا شي غير مرضي وارجو مراجعة مشكلة اعطال البوت لانه شي يأثر على سمعة البوت
لان تقريبا اكثر السيرفرات يستخدمون هذا البوت

We had 10+ downtimes in a year of Premium Tier 2, the standard solution is to re-invite the bot and spend hours fine-tuning it. Currently, premium subscriptions are still being sold, although it is known that they cannot be activated. Support even mentions that you should purchase Premium if you need a reliable bot - that's a joke, right?

I have a lot of understanding for technical problems, but I think you need to rethink your service and pricing model:

If I build a Discord community entirely on ProBot, especially the allocation of rights via /commands, then I depend on my moderators being able to use this tool reliably and stably. That would be worth a few dollars more per year to me if you can guarantee stability. But unfortunately, nothing has changed for the better in this regard since 2022.

I would like a subscription model that provides me with a ProBot with 99.97% uptime, on which new features are only added after serious testing. Because at the moment all the nice functions are of no use to me because they cannot be used reliably. In other words: I am paying for a bot that creates more work for me than it takes away and regularly frustrates my moderators and members because it doesn't work...

نصائح للدعم الفني
1 - الدعم الفني حرفيا كأنه ai بتعطوهم رسائل وهم ينسخوها نفس ردور نفس كل شي

2 - عدم إعطاء معلومات كامله ولو تزيدو عدد الدعم الفني لأن شخص واحد ما عم يلحق عليهم يجوك مجموعات فا ما يعطي كل تفاصيل أو ما يقرأ رسالتك

3 - بعض الدعم الفني تحسهم كئيبين كأنه مجبور يرد لو يقدر يهرب كان خرج من اول ثانيه وهو اصلا اجا وقدم عل دعم

4 - كل شوي خرج من دس وبعدها رجع وراح ورجع كانك بتلعب hide & snake

5 - رد متأخر أو يقلك انتضر وبعدها يا يرد بعد ما تحل مشكلتك يا ينساك اصلا

6 - عدم إعطاء جواب أما يقلك ما اعرف ما ادري عل اقل عطنا وقت تخميني وحط تقريبا واحتمال قبله وبعده زي بعد 3 ايام او كذا

الحلول

1 - أثناء التقديم عطوه نماذج أو محاكاه كانك تبي تشتكي وهو يرد

(في هاذي الأثناء ركزو على أسلوبه سرعة الرد وايضا راقبوا متى يخرج ويدخل بناءا على هاذي الاشياء بينقبل او لا تقدرو تضيفوا عليها)

2 - راقبوا شات الدعم الفني عشان تعرفوا مين السيء ومين الي ما يعطي معلومات كامله

3 - حددو جوائز معينه ولازم الي يقدم يعرف عنها

4 - حاولوا تضيفوا أعضاء دعم فني جدد وروجوا لهذا شي هنا عشان الكل يعرف لأن في كثير ما يعرفون كيف يقدمون

5 - زيدوا أعضاء الطاقم زيادة الخير خيرين بدال ما شخص واحد يستلم شات ويجيه كل شوي طلب ما يلحق وبنهاية بطء بالرد

6 - يتم توضيح كل شيء للعميل زي متى يفتح البوت بدال ما يقله ما اعرف يوضح له السبب وأنه مو مبرمج عشان يحلها ويكون بأسلوب حلووما تكون اجابه تافهه يعني يرد زي ذي عل اقل
"اخوي انا دعم فني مش من طاقم مبرمجين والمشكلة في برمجة البوت نفسه وحلها مش بالسهل وأن شاء الله اول ما بنحصل معلومات بننشرها لكم"
وقتها بتكون سديت فضول العميل أما لو قلت له ما ادري هو بيكون يبحث عن جواب وانت ما عطيته شي فبيروح لشخص ثاني وكذا حتتتى يقول إن الدعم الفني كلهم سيئين ونفسيه ومدري ايش

7 - السيرفر اكيد فيه شخص يقدر يوصل صوت الأعضاء لأحد المبرمجين وياريت تعملوا كذا أو عل اقل حصلوا كم معلومه عشان ننهي سالفة متى بيرجع وسبب مشكلة

وابي أوضح للأعضاء أنهم مو مبرمجين فلا تجي هنا وتقول بوت سيء ومدري ايش ومنهم بلش يدعي تدعي على من انت انت محصله بالمجان لو دافع كان مشيناها بس مجان وتبيه احسن شي ولو صار غلط واحد تبدي تدعي عليهم سلامات وتذكر لك نصيب منها

Unfortunately, ProBot continues to disappoint when it comes to core functionality. While other bots like Dyno and MEE6 have evolved with new features and improvements, ProBot seems stuck, focusing mainly on its ''Credits'' system, which is often misused for shady purposes.
It's been over two years since we've seen any meaningful updates to moderation or leveling systems. As a server owner/admin and Ex-admin, it's frustrating to see no progress while better alternatives keep improving.

If you're serious about moderation or leveling for your Discord server, I highly recommend looking for a better options.

I know you won't read this or even care about, but ty anyway :)

I think the bot has great potential, but the main issue lies in the way it’s being managed by the lead developers like Anas and Ra’ad. They did announce some important decisions — like removing the blacklist and reducing credits — and they did start implementing them, but only after days of delay, and the execution was poor. Some users even had their accounts reset by mistake!

It’s clear there’s no real planning or follow-through. They seem unmotivated, lazy, and barely moving forward. Instead of improving the bot, they’re actually making things worse. The staff is also weak and can’t properly handle these mistakes, and all of this is seriously damaging the bot’s reputation and future.

That said, the current drama is disappointing especially with some users being reduced twice and the slow reduction process. The delay is understandable given the high number of users logged into the bot.

The bot managers and team are doing a solid job. They’re actively punishing those who exploited the slow reduction system by funneling credits through alt accounts, planning on reversing blacklists, giving people second chances, and most importantly listening to the community and offering support when needed.

After Maintenance

Hello,

My friend had Credit and started the reduction process. He reduced, and then transferred it to me before I reduced mine. I contacted Raad about this issue, and he assured me that since my friend transferred the Credit before I reduced, I wouldn’t be affected.

However, after the maintenance ended, I was deducted as well.

I contacted support, and they claimed this was manipulation from my side, which is not true. The situation was purely about timing and transferring Credit, not cheating.

I kindly ask for my money to be returned.

As a former Ex-Developer in Probot, I had the privilege of growing alongside this project, a journey that significantly improved my programming skills and shaped who I am today. I’m deeply thankful to the old team members who supported me and made that progress possible.

Over the past year and a half, Probot has gone through major transformations, new ownership, leadership, and management. I did my best to collaborate with every new member in hopes of continuing the same success we once had in the community that gave me so much knowledge. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as expected. Many wrong decisions, unclear project plans, and misplaced priorities slowed the progress of what could have been a greater achievement. Some individuals, without naming anyone, cared more about personal recognition than the professionalism and future of the project. This was disappointing and frustrating, especially when individual choices negatively impacted the whole project.

That said, I believe everyone has the right to express their perspective regardless of their role in the team. For me, Probot will always remain a project full of valuable experiences, challenges, and unforgettable memories.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who contributed positively to this community and helped shape Probot into what it has been.

أنا كنت مستخدم للبروبوت من فترة طويلة، وكان لفلي سابقًا ٧٠، لكن بعد المشكلة الأخيرة اللي صارت من جهتكم، كل اللفلات انمسحت بدون سبب.
أنا متأكد إن الخطأ ما كان من عندي، والمشكلة عامة، ومع ذلك الحين تقولون إنها من جهتي ومافيه إثبات لأن النظام صفّر الكل.

اللي أطلبه بسيط: استرجاع لفلي القديم أو على الأقل تعويض عادل، لأني تعبت كثير حتى وصلت لهالمستوى، وكان واضح في السيرفر ومو بس كلام.
أتمنى يتم التعامل مع الموضوع باحترافية واحترام للجهد اللي نبذله كمستخدمين دائمين للبروبوت.

أنا مستخدم للبوت منذ بداياته، وكنت دائماً أتابع تحديثاته المستمرة وأقدّر التطويرات التي تضيفونها أولاً بأول. اعتمدت ProBot كنظام أساسي للمستويات (Levels) في سيرفري منذ فترة طويلة بسبب استقراره وسهولة استخدامه.
لكن مؤخراً تفاجأت بأن جميع مستويات الأعضاء تم تصفيرها بشكل مفاجئ، ويبدو أنه حدث خطأ في قاعدة البيانات. هذا الموقف سبب لي إحراج كبير أمام الأعضاء، خصوصاً أن جهودي وجهودهم في رفع اللفلات راحت بالكامل.

the bot is very unreliable that is my only complaint. it frequently has outages and the outages last a very long time. And I personally feel that the outages occur at the worst possible time when my server becomes busiest.

The bot has been very unstable for the past two years. The management and administrators in particular have been the worst. If you report or complain about a mistake or an incident, you are the only one at fault. The management and the bot are dealing with it from one problem to another. The server is simply not organized or regulated. For example, it's normal for you to wait for a bot for 3 months because of a blacklist issue and in the end the administrator tells you it won't stop or that it's not their responsibility. In short, the responses are cold and you are always at fault even if you are 100% clear on what's right.

Hard to have trust in this bot when theres been multiple issues within 2 weeks:

  • Corrupted database
  • No daily backups
  • Failed backup recovery
  • Multiple dashboard issues
  • An attack

Ontop of which, the lack of accuracy and transparency with the announcements/reports needs improvement too.
As a fellow developer, i suggest some management changes.

The lack of transparency and recent issues with ProBot have made me lose trust in the team. Probot was promising but now I have no reason to use it, when other bots have more transparency and less downtime.

The message in #status about levels is very vague and not very helpful. You should add more guidance to #status and then it stops the support team from having to keep repeating themselves, because without contacting support I would assume my levels have been restored, but most people need to contact the support team for that to happen.

I still cannot fathom how we have not had a single message (kept) in #announcements. It seems as if the developers are trying to hide something from us, and it really doesn't sit right.

The support team can keep answering questions about what happened, but it doesn't help. To be clear, the support team are trying their best but I believe whoever is feeding them information is not being transparent enough or not letting info get to us. We still haven't received a proper official statement from someone who is in charge, and I don't see a reason why we shouldn't especially since it is apparently fixed and the bot is safe.

I don't really care how many features a bot has, because to me if the Support server is not even going to tell us the whole truth, I will not use that bot.

Exactly this!!! Its a shame how they handle this issue! Are we dealing here with half-pubescent 13-year-old webmasters, or with adults who are aware that the bot is running on tens of thousands of servers and millions of users are affected? Words can hardly describe my frustration level. Such an opaque way of communicating is truly the absolute worst.

Users have made so many great suggestions for improvements, but nothing ever happens. The bot isn't evolving, and the people responsible are twiddling their thumbs. We still can't define how much XP users receive to, for example, host events or hot weekends where XP is awarded more. Nothing, absolutely nothing is happening. The last downtime, which affected numerous functions, lasted for weeks. What kind of completely incompetent people are working there? We've put up with all of this for ages. And now the database has crashed, taking all user progress with it. Don't they realize that this is causing absolute chaos? My users aren't just annoyed that they're currently at levels 1-3, but they've also been reassigned to beginner roles. This is also related to server permissions. Right now, it's complete chaos, and I've totally lost all motivation to do anything with the server.

A few days ago, they told us they had supposedly restored a six-week-old backup. I can't detect anything like that on my server. And why a 6-week-old backup? With such a huge project and so much responsibility, wouldn't you do daily backups? You're making enough money, so that shouldn't be a problem.

For my part, iam testing out other bots now and will kick off this one from the server after 3 years of running. Damn frustrating to lose all user progress. But it's better to do that and start over than to be ripped off all the time.

I had my server nuked by a different bot last week so I didn’t even notice that Probot got raided until I was experiencing issues using the site and came here to ask for help. After reading the support section and the blatant lack of assistance from the mod/dev team and the clear lack of ability to take ownership for this by at the very least posting an announcement to update your users, new and old (I’ve used Probot for 5 years bro), I’m extremely disappointed by how this situation is being handled and am debating looking into other more reliable bots with a dev team that cares more…. But that’s just my personal feelings on this as a long time user of the bot 🤷🏻‍♀️

I appreciate the love for the support team and i admire any support that is genuinely helpful. However why did this channel become just reviews for individual support agents? I reviewed some of the agents and they are asking people to give reviews in this channel. Sounds more like fishing to look better rather than improving the ProBot service itself.

I would love for this channel to continue being focused on feedback for ProBot product and mentioning support as a whole, not just feedback on individual support agents asking for feedback. (unless its genuine desire to improve themselves)

You say the security breach has been fixed — good.
But what about the Danny issue and the ongoing blacklist problem?
Many users, including myself, have been stuck on blacklist since September with no support and no explanation.
It makes no sense to blacklist people when the support system isn’t even working.

Deleting feedback instead of responding only shows disrespect to your community.
If you truly care about improving Probot, start by fixing the blacklist issue and communicating honestly with your users.
