I tried several times and was just getting the magnifiying glass. So I went and I bought two items from Griftah and I got the message, "You feel quite lucky.". Headed back, put the "77777" code in twice in same machine, it spawned the piece of hate.

yeah it changed for me too. i had zero lucky things, my number was 5x 7s would give me the glass. after entering it a ton of times, i decided to get some lucky items (got 5) came back and hit 5x 7s and it wouldnt work. i tried 3x 7s and it it gave me the 9th piece on a single try

Just want to give my input concerning the lucky slot machine piece of hate. I got the magnifying glass using 77777 (5 7's) but didn't receive any piece of hate, I tried every machine multiple times. I then got the 3 lucky items from the list from Dragon Isles, went back, did the same thing. Still no luck. So then I grabbed the 3 lucky items from Stormwind and tried again. 77777 yieled the magnifying glass again, but still no piece of hate. I then just tried 777 and received the piece of hate. So if you aren't having lucky, try getting all 6 items then putting in 777. I have no idea why this works like this.

So what I learned is that, I had been trying to get the hate from the lucky slots with only 4 lucky items and was having a terrible time. I spent 3 hours spamming 7s until i decided to go buy more lucky items. I got the message in chat, "You feel quite lucky" went back to the slots. input 777 first try and got it. I was pissed because i spent the first day with only the lucky duck with no luck, and second day 3 hours spamming only to get it on the first try with the "you feel quite lucky" "buff"

i just got the slot machines to work after several hours, i got the 6 lucky items, all the machines on the east side of the room gave me the loupe effect with code 77777, but no hate.
west side gave nothing on either 777, 77777, or 7777777, so in frustration i tried different amounts of it, and using 7777 worked first try.

And after trying several times with 5x7, I switched to 3x7 and it finally was in my bag.

Otherwise I always received an alert signal with 7, 77, 777 (although finally this code worked for me at my last try), 7777, 777777, 77777777 and 777777777.

After receiving the 9th coin the slotmachines disappeared.

The magnifying glass has no meaning...I got the two luck items from Gaunah in Dornogal, bought the lucky shirt and summoned the duck toy...then tried a few time 5x7...and finally also 3x7..the latter Code 3x7 worked finally...but maybe due to the luck items from Gaunah and the duck.

Guys I've got a massive problem: I solved everything before an have to goggles too. Neither the Lucky Machine or the Consoles show the special UI when I click them. Tried that in moonkin form aswell

Yes, I think that this Massage should also Pop up, as indication that you have enough luck Items. This Massage appeared when I bought the two Items from Gaunah im Dornigal in addition to the other few Items I had in the bag.

Problem partially solved and I don't know why: I removed Spells on the bar that appeared (which were exact copies of my bar 1) and then when clicking again, the buttons appeared at the spots the spells were before

anyone stuck on this, 5 7's gives you the eye glass, but won't give the coin, go grab the items offf Gritah with the charm, claw, tooth and shirt and use 777 and you should get it.

So i had some help. u have to disable all addons, go out, reset dungeon, go in again and use the goggles and it should replace ur spellbar with the new bar.

If u take any damage it resets and u have to use the goggles again, but no need to reset dungeon

A new question: Does it mean something different that the orbs are around the pillar, or not present? Whats the difference from the one compared to the two here?

as far as we know it's just a way to track and indicate "sub-steps" for a certain step

no it can be finished and still have the little orbs it's just a visual flair really, showing that you had to do xyz different things to finally complete the whole step (big orb). even after you spend the pieces of hate on another item, the little orbs stay

Nevermind, the 9th piece actually showed up as a Postmaster recoverable item so I now have the 9 pieces.

To answer my own question. I bought all the items (had to log onto an alliance alt to buy from Lenny, put in warbank and then take out on horde toon). I wore the shirt, popped the duck toy and then got the last item on 3 x 7s, even though the magnifying glass was showing up on 5 x 7s. Fair play to the people who actually figured this stuff out without any sort of guide!

I was on the last step, the "777 Slot Machine" and didnt have enough Lucky items. I left the Catacombs and got enough to get the emote saying "you are feeling lucky", but when I zoned back into the Catacombs, my "Input Sequence" spell disappeared from my spell book. I cant figure out how to get it back. When I put on the Starry-Eyed Goggles, nothing happens. When I got to the Slot Machine, I dont learn the spell.

I had 5 diffrent lucky items and it worked with 777 code. When u get the eyeglass with 77777 code, it means you do not have enough diffrent lucky items

should be ok - the only progress block is you need the item purchased with the muffin to get into the crystal room for the 8 o'clock RATS - but if you are stuck because you can't get back into the spirit cave there is a brazier in the stairs of the entrance of the scenario that resets it
