practical example: put your palm in front of your mouth and say t!. If you feel a puff of air hit the hand, that's aspirated. English, by the way, does this with p t k all the time, you hear it especially from british speakers and some accents of american more than others

Since your problem is not specific to korean but rather of phonology in general, you can search for words in other languages that have double consonants. Recommendattions: italian, greek, finnish. An example of italian minimal pair: moto, motto

I don't think it's entirely correct to say that separable prefixes need to be at the end of the clause. I would say this type of sentence is a stylistic variation which alters where the verbs are located in a clause.

So I think it is inaccurate to call the "mit" an adverb. I also think it's inaccurate to call the sentence grammatically incorrect. Rather, it's just a case where a prepositional phrase is pushed outside the normal clause for stylistic reasons.

like, there are dialects, but those are mostly variations on pronunciations and are more typical for more rural/isolated regional stuff

in the context of linguistics, every speaker has an internal grammar (which may be rather different from whatever the standardized varitey is). these grammars are very systematic, but don’t all follow the same system
