For me, yes, reading helped a lot. Both group reading and reading by myself.

It's not just books, but reading messages on the server, reading news, reading whatever you can find.

And mostly, making sure you understand the hows and whys of what you read.

And of course, reading comes with multiple different skills/knowledge. You can specifically focus on like, vocab, grammar, colloquialisms, etc. all separately at different times.

Hmm. Translating each word? Possibly. But it's more about like... recognizing the structures used?

Like if you come across a new grammar idea, or an idea you already know but used differently.

So, for example, maybe while reading you see for the first time a sentence where the zu-infinitive comes first. "Ein Buch zu schreiben ist keine leichte Sache" or something like that.

In that case, it's important to learn why that happens or why it's allowed.

Even if the exact sentence is irrelevant.

30 minutes prep max for everything for the dough

let it rise ofr 2 hours, knead it again, take off how much you want for your base, you really dont need much, a handful for one pizza is plenty

then you can bung the rest in the freezer, lasts well for a month in my experience

in the fridge, not so well, I wouldnt do it more than 3 days because after a week the yeast reaction turns into something that smells really like alcohol lmao
