Don't worry haha, learning a language is best achieved by enjoying yourself and having fun with it. Duolingo won't get you far but it's still alright as a starter, I'd really recommend taking a look at >faq beginner in #botchannel, it covers the foundations of getting your German journey going at a steady pace. If you're looking for more immersion, channels like #beginner-german will be more useful, I personally liked using German news programmes for immersion but that's better left till B1 — B2 I think.

I recommend ‚nachrichtenleicht‘. It‘s a website with news written in simple german. What I‘ve started doing is I pick a story on there and do 15 mins reading over and over again whilst taking notes of vocab I‘m not familiar with, then I read out loud for 15 mins. I translate all the words I didn‘t know, take a short break, then I re-write the story in my first language (avoiding a translator)
This helps me with reading comprehension, confidence speaking & vocabulary (bonus reading news ^^)

The site also has the option to listen to a voice reading the text. I usually listen to it whilst reading. I find that this study method is one that isn‘t too overwhelming for me as a A1-A2 speaker. (Of course I do more studying alongside this but thought I‘d suggest this in particular)

Die russische klassische Literatur ist überhaupt schwer zu lesen

und glaube zweifellos daran

Natürlich ist es ein bisschen schwierig, haha.

Naja, es ist natürlich gut für Wortschatz und sw, aber es ist echt kompliziert jedes Wort zu verstehen und ab und zu übersetzen

Wenn ich ein Buch lese, ich möchte mich entspannen, deshalb wähle ich lieber die Bücher, die auf meiner Sprache geschrieben sind
