of course there’s many things you might wanna “always learn when you learn a new word” but there’s a line you have to draw at some point

like you might wanna learn principal parts of every verb ( infinitive, some form of the preterite and past participle, perhaps also a form of the past subjunctive; from these the rest of the verb can be predicted), but then you’ll just never get anywhere

(my suggestion here would be: don’t bother doing that, but maybe do bother explicitly memorizing the perfect form. like gehen - ich bin gegangen or sth; that form sees a lot of use compared to the others so it might be more useful being able to recall it immediately)
