I grew up with the mindset that tattoos are bad for reasons stated in previous messages. I choose to not apply tattoos to my character not because of those reasons (since like Nupid said, games are a portal to expressing yourself), but simply because I'm conditioned to not seeing that as attractive appealing.

This is only my line of reasoning, and it's obv nonsensical to generalize a point based off of my experience alone. With that said, it is from my own speculation that I think a significant amount of the population will think similar to me and not get the tattoos as well. I think there are other things Slimegate can do to appeal to a larger audience and, thus, more profit.

#2, even if it was true, the amount of players who "love" character customization is very slim.
