My wife and I are absolutely in love with Lost Ark. Except, this game has a lot of systems and mechanics that can be a bit overwhelming for a beginner to get started. Especially for my wife, she isn't much of a gamer, but she's trying to learn by playing this game.

Are there any recommendations, links to getting started? We watched some videos that could help, but a lot of those guides just kept talking fast and pretty much overwhelmed us. Thank you in advance!

For anyone that are not sure how new secret map works. It will consume a map in your backpack if use all the maps is selected.

It will prevent group from entering the dungeon if one person does not have the same quality map. So sharing the map is not needed to confirm if others have map or not.

• since my weapon is alreayd at 12, i currently have 5k bound destruction crystals and i have been selling all unbound destruction crystals
• i'm only allowed to play ~10 minutes from monday to thursday and like 5 hours on friday to sunday (this means i get 5 days of daily rewards per week because of rest bonus)
• because of my limited playtime from monday to thursday, i only do my una tasks on those days, and this results in bottlencking on other resources when honing instead of gleaps
• because of my abundance of gleaps in comparison to guardian stone crystals, i am currently selling all unbound gleaps as they are going for liek 110 gold per

ok so today i just realized that i can probably fit more dailies into my 10 minute allowance since una's only take like 3 minutes max

You are misunderstanding how it works. Doesn't matter what abyss you do. The moment you do any abyss on any character that character is locked into getting gold from abyss. Once 6 characters are locked in it says weekly exceed for everyone on gold acquisition but not general entry.

I'd recommend at least finishing the main scenario quest. I hated the game in that phase honestly... but after that and level 50... the game gets completely different and so much better. I mean I've played every day bar like maybe 5.. and I have 825 hours already according to Steam.

That probably doesn't make the biggest difference. Though Paladin or Bard will be slower for sure. Possibly gunlancer, but havent played it. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme. I rushed story with a lot of other people here.. and almost every single person will tell you they wished they probably took the time to complete as much of the adventurer tome and get all the mokoko seeds in each area on the first time through if they could.

That said.. I think the 1-50 and the main quest experience kinda sucks and is boring af

I believe you would just send your gear to your alts.. but that would get expensive with pheons. You can share engravings though, but they're so damn cheap I dont see that mattering unless you have like a Legendary set somehow

i played Sorc main, and 4 Paladin alts at beginning of the game. Now i gave up my Paladins at 1325, and switch to Zer, Glaivier, Blades as alts. cost me 3-4000G each to gear 333 on those dps alts.

yes correct stats, never buy anything above 2k except the necklace, i got those other acc for like 500G-1000G max. alao always correct stats. just create a bunch of search and go thru them once a day when you do daily on them.

Well all skins that can be bought with cash can be sold for gold on the market IIRC. There are some free skins from Providence stones, but you get those from doing basically any PVE activities. I haven't spent any and only have like 102K at 800hrs or so though. But I haven't actively farmed them either. Each piece is pretty expensive though. I think it would be less effort just doing dailies and selling tradeable materials from them and buying better skins.
