you could also play PvE with your friends and have a separate low level pvp toon on West. You dont need to level or gear a PvP toon since everything is normalized. You only need to reach the first mayor city in the game and it will unlock PvP for you with full build customization.

Yes all PvE endgame grouped content is cross server. PvP matchmaking is also cross server but if you want to group up for PvP you need to be on same server.

Burst classes are few and every class has different builds for different kinds of damage. If you don't want to play burst damage but want to play Sharpshooter just don't play with Death Raid engraving as an example.

Nope. Gear is bound to the character. Engravings that you unlock, the non class specific ones, will be useable on any other character on your roster, though.

No, your class in PvP does not have different abilities than PvE. Your build may change, but thats it.

The current assumption we have is that 1000 royal crystals is going to be 10$/€, in terms of purchases on the cash store that is about enough for a name change token, going off the beta prices avatars were about 20$, mounts about 18$ and pets 14$ now granted this is more than likely to be adjusted as the beta was a test but I would still expect avatars to cost around the range of 15-20$ as this is what it's like in korea depending on what is included in the bundle.

The overall value just isn't there compared to the other two, it's not even a free 1k crystals, 1k rc - 10$, aura - 10$, pet - 10$, paying 25$ for value of 30$ isn't as much of a gain compared to the plat+gold but look it's completely up to you, if you wanna splash cash on your hobby go for it.

I've a question. I saw that EU/NA is releasing with level 60 cap. Currently trying the game on RU, just hit 50, realized the XP needed to level went from ~1m from 49 to 50 to ~43m from 50 to 51. How are you supposed to level beyond 50? Still doing the main story or do raids give a ton of XP?

early on you are going to need your gold for upgrading, personally I would get a ship skin if you don't mind converting your gold into blue crystals, the ship skins have increased speed/boost and resistances and you'll be doing a lot of sailing early on.

Hard to tell fully when we don't know when they will be bring the rest of the classes to our release, granted it is harder to change your main in T3 but once you know when your "new" main is coming out, you can start stock piling materials for the class to upgrade it up to or near to the point of your old main and then proceed to continue working on it, it sucks sure for a lot of people who's main is not there on release but if you do these things your new main will get pass the point of where your old one was and then keep going up.

No. Skills don't work like that in the first place. As you level to 50 you'll get Skill Points each level, you can assign these skill points to your various skills. You can also change where you spend your skill points freely so long as you are out of combat and none of your currently equipped skills are on cooldown.

Abyss dungeons are weekly dungeons that are much more complicated versions of story dungeons. They have party mechanics that can lead to party wipes. You can get a lot of resources including gold from them.

There are Challenge modes for all the abyss dungeons and guardian raids which are like Hard versions

Dungeons and Raids in Lost Ark;

Chaos Dungeons: Very straightforward kill hordes of mobs through a few different rooms. This mainly rewards materials you use for upgrading your gear, as well as your starting gear set for each Tier of content (T1, T2, T3), along with accessories and this will be where you get Cube Tickets from.

Guardian Raids: Monster Hunter style boss fight, track down the boss and kill it within a time limit. Limited team revives available. This rewards materials you use for upgrading your gear as well as accessories and ability stones.

Abyssal Dungeons: An instanced dungeon that consists of some basic trash mob clearing, but primarily are focused around two bosses. These can be a bit more mechanics reliant than Guardians and you are required to be in a group of 4 for these. These reward engraving books, gold, accessories, ability stones, cards and a crafting material you will use to craft your Purple set of gear.

Abyss and Legion Raids: These are the higher end things that can only be done in T3. This is the difficult PvE content you'll see people talking about the most. This is the content people will be doing to progress much higher than the standard +15 enhancement level you see at the lower Tiers. These reward Relic gear, materials, gold, ability stones and a variety of other things. We will see these release progressively over time after launch, and eventually their Hell Mode difficulties.

Hello again guys i have some questions to ask about the new info that T3 will be up at Launch.

I never played on RU version and only player lvl 26 on Beta to try 2 classes on PvP.

So my question is :
I plan to main Berzerker or Sorceress and play multiple other character to test them (Artillerist / Paladin).

But i don't want to be too far behind all tryharder on myy guild and my friends.

So my question is :
I main berzerker i lvl up it 50 then i do my daily/donjon and all" daily" things.

Then should i reroll instantly after thoses things are done on my main or there is other things to do on my main to push more and more before starting my rerolls ?

If you want to be tryhard about it, you can hit shushire and do your dailies with your main if you have enough time before the daily reset. Then start leveling alts. The idea is that you get your alts setup to start doing dailies, weeklies as fast as possible. Of course this is a very specific way to play the game and you lose very little for playing normally on your own pace

You should figure out how your friends intend to play, alts arent necessary for the experience. They assist you with speeding up progression.

It depends on the avatar. There are some Avatars that are Advanced Class specific (Holy Knight, Berserker, etc) and others that are base class specific (Warrior, Mage, etc). The base class ones you can swap between any of the characters you have that share the same base class.

Best way to do it is do the main quests to lvl 50, once you are lvl 50 work on your engravings and do the raids. The guides help a lot tho like Fogel said. They make it easier to understand the game

The biggest issue is you log in, you do your dailies, 1hr later you're done and got nothing to do

The only difference is: you need X amount of gold, you have limited gold making activities (hard locked so your income of gold is limited weekly) so you do all those activities and you calculate that you will need to continue doing this for Y amount of weeks so you can afford an upgrade. Then you go 'how can I make more gold' and the easy answer is to play alts.

Yes, but thats sort of the intention. People park their alts at a certain ilvl for the materials they gain specifically to funnel them to their main.

You also still gain resources that are personal and cannot be traded so you will eventually collect enough to make upgrades

The higher in ilvl content goes per tier, so for instance Chaos Dungeons which have multiple ilvl "tiers" (I have no better word for this), the more materials will drop. So people park their alts at say 1370 ilvl for T3 content because that is the ilvl that they are able to do Abyss Raids at. The Abyss Raid, Argos, provides a large amount of gold and they want to take advantage of this on multiple characters, they also can do the Chaos Dungeon, Guardian Raid and Hard Mode Abyssal Dungeons for T3 with this ilvl which will net them even more resources and gold.

Also to further clarify, yes the alts will be progressed eventually but thats mostly up to you and how you want to handle it. You could progress them enough to also be able to do Legion Raids.

So tldr they will park the alt at an ilvl that is the most beneficial for resources or otherwise.

Classes fall into two categories: DPS and Support.
DPS does as it implies, they deal damage.
Support in this game however does not heal, not like in games like WoW or FFXIV. They "support" via buffs that helps the groups DPS as well as providing shields that help to mitigate damage for brief periods of time. Any healing they might have is minimal and I do mean minimal.

Most often each player in a group is primarily self sufficient. They keep themselves alive either by making sure to avoid mechanics or by using the % health potions if they happen to get hit.

Depends on the video, depends on the context. That stuff is also usually seen in things like Abyss Raids or Legion Raids, and again they are typically the "throw your ass off the platform" kind or "wipes out the group" kind.

There are ways to mitigate this stuff regardless outside of just hp pots or otherwise. Thats what the timestop potions are for.

It will depend on if we have current KR changes, but mostly it should be along those lines. The KR changes cut down on it a little bit, though because its only MSQ with no side quests.

As for daily reset on the first day, considering we're going to be on T3 for launch I don't think missing out on that when in T1 is that big of a deal. Almost negligible as it will only be something that would affect your T1 progress which is highly likely to be very quick no matter what.

That ticket applies to your account. You have to go to the character selection screen and find the "Ascension" button on that window. It should be indicated which boost you have available from that ticket. Make sure your Berserker is selected, I believe that matters.

Right now people are able to play on Russia, South Korea and Japan regions for the game. RU is the easiest to get access to and has the least amount of ping issues for most people.

Each region is run by completely different publishers so you would have to go and register accounts on their respective sites to gain access. NA/EU is all being done by Amazon and through Steam, they are in no way linked to RU, JP or KR regions in terms of accounts.

You can literally just run past every mob until you come to an objective/obstacle do w/e has to be done and then ignore all mobs and continue running towards end

Since mobs awards basically no xp anyway it's not worth the time

New players probably want to experience the dungeon too in their new game wonder moment while we just want to gtfo. I wonder how many people are gonna fuck up the mirror thing in Morai Ruins too

Any of the general instanced PvE content, yes, as those are cross server (Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids, Abyssal Dungeons, Abyss Raids and Legion Raids). But those two servers have to be in the same region. You won't be able to interact in the open world, though, or be in the same guild.

I believe it will put you back to character select before putting you into Trixion for Advanced Class selection. So once you go through character creation and select your name it will put you into character select screen and you have to manually begin playing the character from there.

There will be some things that are solo instanced

The only issue is when you leveling you will be forced into instanced content a bunch of times that you can't do grouped. So you'd have to leave group and then join when both are done after.
