as long as it's on your bar and you're actually throwing it, you're most of the way there. main issue is it has like a 5 second delay before it traps so you have to hope he avoids moving too much

if you want to make a valk you should hold it, but if you have a class youve already decided on you should use it

do you have to be exactly the ilvl it states to get the 20k bound gold? Or can I go over the stated ilvl and then (for example) unequip a gear piece before I do the solo boss challenge and still qualify for the gold?
I ask bc i'm currently ~1620 but I advanced honed 1-2 lvls, so if I transfer my gear to t4 it'll put me over the 1640 threshold by 1-2 lvls

Follow that to get yourself set up. From there you can do daily stuff like Chaos Dungeon, Guardian raids. The daily event thingies like Chaos gate, field boss, adventure islands (Appear in the daily timer thing in the top left pop out). Weekly stuff like Unas, Solo raids

In terms of progression, yea. Those will all give you various mats to help hone your char and raise your ilvl to higher content. 1580-1620 is Tier 3. Then you move to Tier 4 where group content becomes more alive

There is a step-by-step to progression in the pinned comments that cover it. You collect a new set of tier 4 gear, gear transfer into it (this maintains all your thingies like quality, elixirs, trans, other stuff applied to your gear)

If by equipment you mean your armor/wep you keep that same set until youre 1620. You dont replace it until later

You can earn silver on any number of characters on your Roster.

• Daily: 3 Daily Lopang Una's Tasks.
• Weekly: 3 boxes per week, Chaos Dungeon Purification.
• Weekly: 3 Weekly Una's Tasks (Cube, Chaos Dungeon, and Life Skills)
• Fate Ember: As a random drop from Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids there is a chance for varying Silver amounts to be rewarded.
• Quests: As you level to 50, and any quests on future continents post 50, you will earn smaller amounts of Silver.
• Rapport: Many rewards from NPC Rapport include Coins that can be consumed for some Silver.
• Cube: You will receive Silver as a reward for completing any Ebony Cube.
• Adventure Islands: These happen at various times throughout the week. Keep an eye on your Procyon Compass (top left of screen, blue icon) to see what is available.
• Event Vendors: When these are active they will offer chests with Silver in exchange for the event currency.
