+17 you will be 1695

its pretty easy math

you do not do 21-30 until you are +18 you can get 21-30 ah mats at 1680 by doing mordum normal

but you do not do it until +18 on your gear pieces.

mordum hard is 31-40

I'd say that they're equally difficult. Just different things to look at. WoW fights are generally a bit more scripted leaning more into team play, with bloodlust timings and all with the boss aggro being held by tank/offtank, but LoA fights are more on individual knowledge of the fight and more akin to isometric dark souls where 80% of the fight is against the boss and maybe 20% is their scripted mechs.

if you dont have anymore pants pieces to try, just try to get something higher then a 5/3 on chest. if can be any 2 common pieces like mana/resource blessing or anything. alot of people use the chest piece to make up for whatever points they need to complete the 40set

Most people skip this part of the game and powerpass their characters up to 1585

if you play from the very start its uh rough progression wise and it takes a long long time but you also get to see everything in the story

Well so the card sets turn all your damage into a specific element so like light of salvation (the set basically everyone uses for most of the game) turns all your damage into light damage and boosts your damage % (vfx and animations dont change though)

you get free LOS 30 from the current express event but you need to be 1585 to access it

dont worry about cards though really at all

Most bosses have a weakness & there are different card sets to turn your damage into that type & buff them.
As a new player you should equip Star Of Destiny card set. Deep Dive is your mid tier dps set & Light of Salvation is your endgame card set for dps.
Tag the cards from DD & LOS and watch the wandering merchants on your map for when they sell those cards

Also a small tip for deciding a class on the pass. In the past, I've REALLY enjoy classes but in chaos dungeons, however their playstyle translating into raid was a lot different and I regret using the pass on them. So definitely keep that in mind, and the skill ceiling. We are getting offfical DPS meters too, some classes are finnicky and you might get frustrated, but then again, how a class looks and if its fun is probably the best way to decide - just make sure you enjoy it in raids

SE has another build thats a bit more difficult and has more skill expression but its not as strong as fmh, nights edge i play nights edge and its a lot faster of a playstyle, but it also has more strict rotations and you kinda have to have a lot of knowledge of how the spec works to optimize it

so yeah, you can run raids on your alts and get some gold, and slowly accumulate some bound mats

but pushing an alt w/o express and without a lot of resources saved up is going to severely kneecap your ability to go anywhere with your main

you dont need to push your main, if you dont have the resources right now

but ecomomically you should be focusing on your expressed character right now

thats going to be your best value for the gold

What's a worthwhile card set now to work on since LOS30 is free. Mayeb guardian dmg%? Niche raid dmg types like Earth seem a bit too specific, anything else that is good "general" use like guardian cards. Is the guardian dmg set up really decently more over los30?

Nobody uses anything except LOS or the other element types, everything else is completely useless so.. Unless you play sup then you go for the support card sets.

Your class doesnt matter at all, or the type of dmg your skills might do, when you equip LOS it turns all your dmg into holy type. Same goes for all the other element dmg decks.

otherwise doing enough stronghold farming to craft w/ bound gold is not generally the best way to go, but when you're starting out its a no-nonsense, reliable way to get started
