not entierely sure but what's farming Orehas are mostly bots so that's that, crafting oreha aint really worth either better buying it or stock pile with solo shop. and when you know that T4 logging is the more "comfy" life skill and the only tool that got pretty decent stat you have is the axe yeah probably, not like you will do anything else with the green and blue rarity wood anyways, you keep a bunch of white one for stronghold and stuff and that's it

I haven't played LA in a few years (since like 2023). I heard the game has gotten a lot more f2p and progressive friendly, but I am curious to know a things. Where does the meta sit regarding classes? How easy is it to play multiple jobs at once? How does fashion/glam work? Iirc, it was VERY fomo heavy, and you had to buy limited cosmetics from other players which would inflate the price.
I know some builds within a class are more optimal but like when I played Gunslinger was generally a weaker class and you had to build it a lot for it to be comparable to others.

I'm not trying to optimize the fun out of the game or anything but I remember gunslinger being pretty underwhelming in terms of how much damage I could do to the point I wasn't even a glass cannon I was just a glass wet noodle so while the class looked cool and was fun to play having to sweat 24/7 to do a fraction of what I once did as destroyer was kind of disappointing.
I think there's a balance between overoptimizing and picking a decently strong class so you don't make it so hard on yourself you want to quit

GS has never been THAT bad.
But it's probably not a good starter class. It's not a super-difficuly class, but it's definitely not new-player friendly, so wouldn't recommend it for you.

Pistoleer Deadeye is a better pick for easy gameplay starting out, if you want the gun theme.

Enhanced Weapon is the back attack version with shotgun skills, which is a little harder, but Pistoleer is the other spec and is pretty easy.
If open to any theme I'd recommend Mayhem Zerker, Control Glaivier, Eso Striker and Demonic Shadowhunter for starting characters.

Easy in solo, but very hard to transition to multiplayer on.

The first 2 are "hitmaster" classes that don't care about where you're hitting the boss from.
The last 2 are back attackers.
All of them are average or above in tankiness and pretty easy to play.

Speed is pretty much a dead line. And Green Thumb Duration is low value since no direct increase in rewards. Normal duration isn't an issue if only Foraging.
These numbers are based on Lulu's Logging Calculator sheet. I adapted a version of it to make it work for other life skills. Link to her original sheet is in there as well.

You don't have the correct type of gold. To craft tradeable items (including Oreha), you need to pay the crafting cost with Unbound gold. The alternative way to craft Orehas with Bound gold is to unlock the farm at Stronghold level 10 and craft bound Orehas with the farm materials.

pretty smoge without a support, the mana issue isn't that bad for solo content since you'll burn the boss quickly.

1670/1680, you get access to brel and start stockpiling karma mats on them
1660 gets you aegir but you're not generating karma mats which takes like 6months to finish with only running normal

If you don't care about the story and just wanna raid, feel free, you will still get lost as you approach any system anyway as basically everything changed, you'll save months instead of waiting for the stupid mats to craft the armors
And since you're 1400 you will get a discount on the passes the more story you have already done

You can use Bound ones too.
They can be crafted in stronghold with farm mats.
Tradeable ones are craftable with gold at alchemists in towns I believe.
NOTE: You have some Mokoko challenge quests that reward ship parts and upgrade mats.
I recommend running all those quests fully for the rewards.
