To fill in empty spots of info, first of all, class engravings are basically useless now, save that book in your storage as you will never use it, second, you are, probably, able to pick an engrave from your list twice, aka filling the 2 slots under your weapon, you just need to pick a playstyle, for now I recommend night edge as it's much easier (Alt+i then drag and drop on your bubbles, or click the bubbles on P under weapon), third, you will get a full set of 5 for free permanently once you get to 1415 item level, that's a long way so just use your class engrave x2 for now, more than enough

Most of the times when people do raise chars they either knowledge transfer, which you can't do for your first character since you need to have cleared that story atleast once, or use a powerpass given.

There used to be events called story express that let you bypass material restrictions in t2 areas so you could just do story then get new gear to proceed and so on

But I haven't seen that event for well over half a year now

for example spec+crit with Circulate/Precise/Hammer/Wedge
