Some are for that, some would give you a bit of mats, not a lot and probably tier 2 mats, some are good coz they have some kind of shop where you can get stuff to hone alts or something (no t4 islands exist I think)

But overall it's usually for the collectibles/island souls if you're a completionist,

Can someone explain the laziest way to get an Ignite character to 1620? Preferably without doing too many raids. I've been creating characters and honing them to 1580 to get the 2k gold, but many of them simply don't make it with the materials they are initially given, so I just start another character - but that takes up a lot of time.
