I'm guessing you unlocked transcendence while still in the raid but it didn't work. They haven't given any updates on their progress on fixing it but they do know about the problem so you have to wait or make a new character and unlock transcendence in town

By the looks of the quests you're fairly early in the story. You have a few options. Chill, enjoy a casual playthrough of the story to learn the game, but it's very long and boring

Or you could check out ignite servers. It'll shoot you to endgame. You can use the special server to learn the endgame, like raids, how to play your class, the more serious stuff

It's basically a special event server

You have the option of keeping a single high ilvl endgame char and merging it into your existing roster. OR you can use it as a fresh start, keep a char & your roster progress

No. You only keep a character. If you choose the full roster transfer, then you keep only your ignite progress. There is no option to merge the roster progress of the 2

You’re gonna get gated out of the story by item level and raiding. You can solo the raids, but you’ll need to hone higher which costs gold.
Transferring an ignite character that’s high level will let you have at least a decent source of income while you do the story on your other character.

The main reason why ignite servers are so good is because it dramatically reduces the difficulty of honing and gives you lots of stuff.
