However, the boss keeps falling in the middle and killing me. Usually there's a red indicator that shows the safe spot on the side of the map, but it's not showing. I'm not sure what side of the map to run to. Do I just run to any side?

depends on what you want, BK is also non positional, red after ark passives doesn't need front as much ( that's what i heard from kr youtubers at least ), so take my words with grain of salt, but again both are great
