Everything in game which heals you is percentage based, most which damages you is flat numbers
so getting more hp is same as taking less damage via any defences in a way how math works out (besides few outliers but they fringe and dont matter)
Also most things which protect you, damage reductions from support and skills are also % based.

but when you dc'd, you are jailed on the certain gate. that ticket is basically a reentry for you to play the raid again right where left the raid. lets say u got dcd after gate 1, that ticket will get you to play gate 2 and get the rewards if ever you completed it

There's really no measurable milestone for you to have to meet within a certain amount of days or weeks. If you're honing with limited resources, you may as well get gated from progress for that reason or just no gold at all
