It does void the whole current Engraving System, but it's preparation for the next big patch, Tier 4 / Season 3, where Engravings are no longer from accessory/stone nodes, but rather just straight up from books. They can be selected and swapped out whenever they want.

they are very soloable for any class
if you want an easier time (since sometimes raid builds dont have AoEs to kill trash there) refer to your class guide and go to the chaos dungeon part
