50-60 for the first time is pretty slow. The best sources of xp are from doing msq or cubes. Making sure to keep up with dailies helps to for a consistent source of xp
If youre at Punika, I would say just keep questing for now
Rowen is 100% optional but it also gives xp for the main story so its an option
& most online guides suck. Lostark.nexus, maxroll are good sites. #guides-and-info has a lot of stuff

Generally speaking no. Especially for your first char I would recommend enjoying the ride. When you get towards the endgame stuff youll have a better perspective for it. Buying gold for progression is almost always a loss

No, gear does not break. You rolla dice basically to try an upgrade. If you succeed cool, if you fail you build up whats called a pity meter or artisan meter. After a certain amount of failed attempts youll get 100% chance to succeed

you can pay to save time but the exchange between time and money is horrendus, especially alter on

i personally used a few to make 1540 alts but even then there is a method to this which lets you use far less than if you just bought 1520 powerpass

Not really tbh. As a new player blue crystals will be a majorly helpful thing to have. You use them to unlock more storage space for a varity of things. Card storage is a big deal eventually
Generall swiping for materials or raw gold is a bad idea. Only do it if youre cooling with burning cash for a bit of progress

Valtan and Vykas are the first 2 Legion raids. The rewards you get from them are used to craft your first Relic armor/WEP set

Yes. The dps check isn’t too tough on normal and you need it for advanced honing mats eventually.
Chances are you will need a lot of pulls in g2 so might as well get started. If the question is about gatekeeping, well, we can’t answer how easy it will be for you to find a spot.
