it'll bump up the character you choose almost immediately, after a skippable story recap. Like i said, you don't have to use it on your main (or at all, I suppose), just to know that it eventually expires if you sit on it. No rush

Max level is 60, but the pass will bring you to level 50. Also max ilvl right now is 1650, but you really only need to get to 1630 as thats the highest ilvl req for content.

getting to 60 is easy, its just slow, you don't really grind it. getting ilvl you get by doing raids to upgrade your gear, and honing for a chance to improve your ilvl

you can play the game without getting to max level, i'm way behind myself and haven't done several of that top end raids, play as casually or seriously as you like

This is primarily a vertical progression MMORPG, and the ilvl cap is going to keep going up as time goes on. Right now its been made a bit easier to get to 1600 ilvl, especially with the starting point being 1520 ilvl if you use the Power Pass on a character.

Yes it is going to skip all the story leading up to that point, but there is still more to come. If you want to make an alt character and experience the story from start to what is more current then you can still do that, but if you're looking to "catch up" to current content, or get close to it, then the Power Pass is your best bet.

Amazon changed how trusted status is obtained, the old way is "You need steam trusted / non limited and enabling 2fa on steam guard app", it's now an in-house system not reliant on steam. All the info they have given us on how to get it is "Play the game and you get it eventually".

You can find it in your character select screen, by selecting the powerpass option on your character.
