Level 60 is the cap. But combat level isn't really used to measure "power level" in lost ark. People use item level to determine strength and progression.

Question, so me and a few other friends started playing the game a few weeks ago. We are all around 1500 Ilvl rn but started needing gold for hones. Clown is only 4 people and thought it would be a good starting point since it's around our ilvl and only requires 4 players.

Would you guys recommend running normal first or junp right in and start practicing hard?

Yes in most cases

The only exceptions would be cases where paralysis immune + movement is required

Your push immune would also require movement

Kayangel g3 shadow pull for example

But also generally speaking, push immunity is a higher tier than paralysis immunity

It works on anything that may stagger your character

the point is that vanguard fucks up with lost ark in more than one way, you have to NOT have that horrible shit in your system (or at least open)

its not always the cause, but a good amount of times it is

including disabling ip v6, turning off or switching the region of your vpn if any, reseting your router, changing your DNS, flushing your DNS, connect via LAN if you are using wifi or viceversa

finish Shushire on your main (continent after north vern) then use the elgacia pass (on your main), afterwards you will get a free north vern powerpass that puts an alt up to shushire story completed, then you can keep doing story on the alt, but your main will be stronger for whenever you wanna do real content

once you have your first elixirs and are going for set you can save a lot of gold by just dismantling early if it's not looking good
