quality is an rng rolled system on gear that determines bonus hp or damage done. it cannot go lower as you just upgrade using the quality upgrade npc.

whenever you upgrade it, the quality will stay. furthermore, whenever you transfer gear into newer sets it'll take whatever is the higher quality.

Lower swift (and probably low lv gems as well) means lower uptime on everything, buffs, debuffs, meaning lower identity gain which also means less buffs, I would not accept super mega cheap supports personally, anything above 1730~ swift is fine, lower than that is a "I made this cheap ass ugly char for ez gold" angle

Unless the class has specific break points, swift is not thaaaaat important, spec on the other side...

For DPS, it varies from class to class, and even which stat you're comparing (spec/swift/crit). Some classes have better Spec=DMG than others for example, so having the highest spec possible is ideal, whereas some classes don't lose out much DMG if they're missing like 100 Spec.
For Supports, I think the general rule is 1400 swift + lvl7 cooldown gems is the bare minimum for theoretical 100% uptime on their AP buffs. Everthing after that is QoL (?).

Used elixirs you just dismantle. You can't sell the bottle itself, but you can sell the remains OR you can save up the remains and craft more cuttable elixirs (10 per week iirc)

its only a story skip, yes it saves you the time you should have taken in doing the continent (1-2hrs per) but thats where the help ends

if you consider that fast, then yes

otherwise you have to get the mats to hone the alt, which you can, there are quite some places, but nothing enmasse on tier 3

the only thing you need to have in mind while starting the game is: Do you like reading the story and take your time or do you just wanna get to endgame asap (we get a ticket for one character to skip all early and mid game, so you start doing what the game offers best)

so a lil bit of research on what character you like would be best before using the ticket

anything more specific, again, you can ask and if you give us enough info we may be able to pinpoint a class you may like

Sorry to bother since it's probably a common question but I'm going through the inventory management section of the quick start guide and I'm wondering:

what do harmony shards/honor leapstones do? It kind of says to trash them if I don't intend to play other characters early game or something so I'm confused.

Also it'd be great if there was some kind of list of things to keep in my storage just bullet pointed out - if there is one can I please me directed to it?

ik i asked this a while ago but my friends said when the NAW merges with NAE, the characters wil be in a universtal storage and can be place in any roster, is that true? or when the merge arrive it will have the two server added?

tier 2 mats can be used for alt characters, if you will be a 1 char player forever and ever you have no use for them, i recommend still saving them in your storage or something (assuming they are tradable) for if in the future you wanna try something that catches your eye

we have no idea how they will handle it, but PROBABLY they will just put all the servers separately and wont merge them again, but again, we DONT know how they will handle stuff, wait for more info

each character can get their own materials and beat their own raids, so 2 chars means double the resources

some people dont wanna play that much time / cant play that much time, so 1 char is ok, even if it means a bit slower progress, you will still reach end game, just slower, but what's the rush, it's an mmo and the raids won't go anywhere

if they dont merge any server you cant put the chars from server 1 in server 2, that is not how it works

stop fomoing about the idea of moving chars between servers, yes they said in kr they are planning server transfers, but we dont even know when and if its gonna even be for us, and again, server merges and universal storage for chars are completely different, and you cant move them willy nilly over any server, they stay in the server merged

its not an extremely literal "UNIVERSAL" storage
