If by pay currency you mean the premium currency, as in microtransactions, no it is not that.

It is just a normal ingame currency.

People can exchange Royal Crystals, the premium currency, or exchange gold for Blue Crystal which is used for a number of things such as acquiring Crystalline Aura.

But otherwise Gold can simply be attained by playing the game

Players generally just do nm even if they're at 1600 because it's easier to get into parties with less stress on the run. If you're going that route, there is no reason to do Hakkan apart from enjoying the fight itself

quality on acces are giving you main stats like swiftness or crit rate. you can check your quality by hovering your mouse above your accesoires. They will show you 68 or 45 for example. You want to have 100 but between 75 and 100 should also be fine especially for rings
