The reason for that is this

These books have bonuses added to them

which increase your stats

literally any stat in the game pretty much

and they are important to build up

especially demon dmg and the normal stats such as swiftness / spec and crit

@median mauve yea prime is the red one, cheapest way is to buy crystals and buy them from maris shop, 50 prime orehas for 45 crystals works out to around 28 gold per oreha, significantly cheaper than buying from market or crafting if you have to buy mats. I think you're actually still better off selling the mats and just buying from maris

u can go back quite a bit too if you havent bought them from before, should be able to snag a few hundred
