Any card XP put toward a removed card to enhance it will be abandoned and reset to zero, so players should use up their XP before the merges. Card XP put toward a remaining card will remain. Card XP will also be lost if applied before having duplicates needed for an Awakening.

There absolutely is, and it isn't as daunting as you might think. You don't need to be 1600 ilvl immediately upon returning, also you're just not at an ilvl where a lot of people are doing the content.

People very easily push beyond 1405, and 1415, and 1445 these days

do card islands, do all sources of leg selects and leg packs, dont bother with 1-6 abyssal dgn card runs, just do ur 3 gold raids on ur chars and pray shit drops, also wandering merchant and fermata/peyto + SH card packs whenever u can
