If you go to your K, your skills. And click "Settings" in right bottom corner of skills you can see tripods. They are increments for your skills
You can mark a tripod (meaning if the increment level drops in chaos you see it)
Then you can use them in the "Transfer Skill Tree NPC" at any city
Look up in the community guide what the important tripods are for your class and class engraving
And mark those so you can transfer bit by bit

Dd30 is marginally better than los18 sometimes. Los18 isn’t that hard to get over time while los30 takes around 1-1.5 years.
Los30 is a massive dmg boost, so it’s best saving for that.
