if your group setup has awful stagger, use #1 + VPH to get the clear at the expense of worse uptime. If you arent failing mechs/farming raids, use #2 and swap in MP increase

But you don't need a full roster of 6 characters, you can absolutely play this game on one character,even 2 to 3 if you want to but alts are an investment and take materials, gold, and other things away from your main typically before they actually start providing those things to said main.

Meh, played MMO's in the past and people were active and more helpful to noobs than ever. Even some games with poor graphics ha, runescape old school and maplestory for example.

The ingame matchmaking doesn't exactly have a forced requirement of 6 DPS 2 Support when using it, also this game is primarily about the Raids, and the Raids are fairly difficult for most people. Very mechanics heavy.

So there are players that do help and will assist newer players who need to learn

This game is not heavy on DPS checks

Sure, and I understand that mentality...however it snowballs into nonsense even if they aren't specifically the ones being ruthless about it. Also if these are players you have specifically encountered in your own raids then maybe they topped MVP because they were "carrying" players with low DPS.

when purple seeds hit the wall the yellow patterns start, ideally low stagger classes should take them so stagger players can play a bit more comfortably

there is no correct or incorrect way of playing a game

so you just used the south vern pass

if you really like the class, use the mokoko express event so you can hone higher

deskaluda is a good guardian raid, you should get some people if you matchmake there

otherwise you gotta go all the way to 1490 for caliligos

as for legion raids, as i said, you never matchmake those

the reason is 1- no one ever does that and 2- they are not something you go and beat blind and be happy after

the difficulty of the raids in this game is higher than other mmos, the floor specifically

there are partywide wipe mechs and you gotta restart if 1 person fails, usually, on a lot of mechs

that's wasting both your time and the other 7's time

so, you want to first of all research a bit about your class, engravings, combat status and skills (lostark.nexus), then you wanna check video or written guides about the encounter and lastly you wanna join a learning party

i have a quick question about these powerpassses. Did you get any good runes if you boost a new char with one of the passes or is it just lvl and some gear?
I will lvl my first character from 10-50 but for my alts maybe using one pass right away.
And can i unlock runes for reaper when i playing any other class or did i have to raid with the reaper to get the necessary runes?

The basic runes are given out to everyone for free now. Regardless if you use a powerpass or not.
Powerpassing Completes the main story up to the continent in the name of the pass

The event south vern passes that are available right now take you to south vern/lvl 50/ ilvl 1415 and give you a set of Relic gear

Runes are also roster wide. If you unlock a good one on your main, you can use it on an alt np
