General rule of advice. Assumptions create disappointment. If we don't get honing system change quick and you're frustrated, there is no one to blame but your own expectations. Expect it to take a few months, and if it's sooner you'll be pleasantly surprised and it'll be extra cool

Chaos dungeons are your best source. 2 a day.
Tower if a side content with special rewards, buuuutt if you do it once, on your second run through you get lots of honing mats

You could steamroll the T1 tower on your 1450 in ~20mins, then do it on you 500 ilvl char for a bunch of mats

SG balancing in general has been really bad recently, so gs and some other classes that haven't gotten changes in awhile aren't performing as well as they should

but tbh GS doesn't have any fundamental design issues, the numbers just need to be tweaked
