You can also exchange Amethyst shards at a vendor but they don't really give much.
Crystals can be obtained by leveling up your roster lvl 81+ tab at lv. 110 [You get 100 crystals] for example just check the tabs you'll see. Roster lvl is a big part of this game as well as you'll struggle to be accepted in lobbies due to having a low roster lvl amongst other things e.g. card sets, engravings etc.
