Lost ark is pretty good at high ping- I play 200ms normally and I was able to still do akkan at 300-600ms when I was lagging

the diff is you don’t get kicked from the game as soon as you spike

You didn’t press that skip button in the top left of your screen at the beginning I take it.
You can either keep going with that mission or press esc then press the escape button. Either way, that’ll kick you back to trixion where you can replay key points of the story or skip them.

Hey, I came from a game called Albion Online and me and my friends were going to play Lost Ark, but are discouraged from coming due to the fact that there is a mandatory storyline and tutorial you have to complete which averages 40-60 hours of playtime. (i think)

we are all still noobs and are actively researching, but some of us don't want to sit through a 60 hour mandatory storyline if we just want to play the game for pvp and social aspect. Is there something we are missing? is there a simpler way to skip tutorial and storyline?

There are events right now to PowerPass past most of the story and progress into endgame is skipping all that stuff is what they want to do

1-50 is like 20 hrs, and then it’s like 10hrs for 500 to 1415

after the powerpass there's like I think 10-12 hrs of story left until current content

However, you don't need to do the story right away

as they gated by vertical progression, so you have time to do them slowly

if you are not interested in the story just press "esc" until you get to the first city, there you get the power pass

i don't. all i vividly remember tis that i just saved a burning village, now there is some plague spreading in akumo mountain and i have to burn bodies and purify springs and fight mobs
