Since you just used the south vern power pass, you don’t need to do valtan and vykas for your relic set. So you can do dailies and other stuff to hone to 1490 before you need to raid.

You do raids then you get better gear. Then you upgrade (hone) that gear with materials gained from dailies and weeklies. Rinse and repeat.

It's 99% dismantle angle (100% dismantle legendary stuff). It takes some time to explain the process behind finding something that is potentially worth something but the TLDR is: 2 good engravings that is useable by a class with the correct stat and reasonable/high quality

As for that specific question, the pass literally throws you higher than the ilv you mentioned, do you NEED to use a pass? No but it will make your life easier (assuming that char has not completed s.vern)

Js is no longer excluded from the other servers now. You can party find with anyone within the region
