Lower chaos dungeons drop extra materials and the mats are cheap, technically its free to get a char to 1490
Your progress will be slower compared to an event character so its upto you

Yeah just go predator.

Punisher you need wealths, spec breakpoints, you need boss fight knowledge to know burst windows, etc to perform as well as Predator does just by hitting all their buttons.

Punisher can be more fun if you find predator too boring tho, but performance is way easier on pred

What's the long-term goal for side quests? Do they provide something crazy good or is it simply just a source of additional EXP/story?

in other words, should i skip them?

i plan on doing all quests with my Main character.
But I want to figure out if I should do them with my alt characters as well

Sometimes they might unlock more Una's Tasks, otherwise...not really. They aren't even there for leveling anymore because you only need to do MSQ ( ) for leveling to 50. They could be for some extra exp (roster and combat) after level 50 while you're trying to manually progress through to and after you get to T3 with the other continents.

iirc powerpass complete some and like chain quests provide skill points and like

At a certain point you won't even really need them for alt leveling anyway since so long as you get one character to level 60 you can just use the Training at your Stronghold to get the alt to level 59, takes a few weeks but thats combat exp you don't have to manually get from playing and you can still play the character and get exp from the usual sources while that training is happening.

You need to get the levels first before you can train the alts close to that level

Not necessarily, combat level does provide skill points and access to higher levels on skills beyond level 10, but its not something to rush. Can't really rush it anyway unless you have those exp pots from one of the express events

But for the most part...yeah, get level 60. Don't worry about your alts getting there until you do.

Yeah, but some people run tags for other classes cause of color even if they don't play them. There's a little golden box in the top left corner that lets you track the cards, so whenver you open a card pack you can immidately tell if you got a card that is useful as well it will show on merchants so you can just do quick mouse overs to check if they have the card you need.
