Only char that has engrvaings equipped is my 1462.5 Scouter, I do have a 1490 SS from past express event but I have no accessory for him and thus no engraving. Other options are a poor equipped Mayhem zerker from launch (1405) and Destroyer (1410 iirc). Slayer is 1450 but not equipped aswell (from the other express event lmao). I did used my Vern pass to boost a Soul Eater and Mokoko Express on her but am currently stuck because I have no Oreha fusion material and basically no gold.

With this given, whats my best bet to make some gold to keep honing my Soul Eater and eventually buying accessory on my SS to strengthen my roster?

The only semi-exception is mario1/2 because kakul gets damage reduction at 90x in gate 3. So it’s still skippable if you can delete kakul from above 90x in one hit

This is also taking into account bound material gains

Which is not the correct way to assess how “worth” something is, particularly for an alt

The top comment is looking specifically at a main character

If you are looking at pushing an alt your income does not significantly change - you are talking maybe a few extra thousand if you sold your tradable leaps and stones and bought no boxes

Because remember you could have sold your lower rank leaps and stones anyway

The actual time it takes to fully recover your gold investment is very long and in the scale of several months

So yeah, looking at the spreadsheet a bit more. It does look at income, but yeah, some of the later comments does already suggest longer time to see gains if it’s an alt, and even then we’re talking about running daily content etc

I think it’s just not useful to look at “roi” in this way. Ultimately you can always make profit from pushing - you will access greater gold rewards through materials and/or raids. It will take time - even that Reddit post admits that. But is it healthy to basically think about it that way? I kind of think not given you’re sort of committing yourself to actually do that content to achieve some supposed “return of investment” which has actually simply meant spending time on the game (which is not being taken into account by the spreadsheet)

I say this not to suggest pushing is bad or not profitable, but just that you should be doing it primarily because you want to play the higher content

Because ultimately, you will probably spend more time doing that, and spend more time in party finder or real jail
