legendary selectors deffo keep, there are a few other kinds that will have specific pools of cards to select from, best to hang onto them until you have an idea of what you're after

if you look at a pack and it just says you have "a chance" to get something, go for it, its totally random

to err on the safe side, "select and obtain 1" you keep, "chance" you open

once you get the hang of things, you can go into the card collection and mark "notification" on specific cards you want, and it'll put those cards at the top of the list of cards in any pack they're available in

you get some basic stat bonuses just for completing sets of cards, even if you dont intend on using them

hit alt + C to pull up the card window, then search the sets you're looking for: light of salvation, kazeros's legion commanders, deep dive, and maybe lostwind cliff. You can click the gray sleeved card in the upper left of a card to turn on notifications for that card, do that for all the cards in those sets and you'll see if a pack you get possibly contains one of them

but use star of destiny for now 🙂

YoDaddy has a point that the story express helps with some gear upgrading required for later story stuff but I wouldnt get hung up on it if the events got unknowingly missued. We get another powerpass/express event along with a new char in Nov. Worst case, you level for now and just powerpass then

Youll be leveling well into endgame. Leveling doesnt scale linearly and the things you do to level completely change part way through

There is something in your stronghold that can train another character up in levels, that's how people get their level up faster
