The difference is not just 1%

Akkan 25 is perfectly fine for endgame, and you can easily clear content with it

But having sidereal with its innate stronger weapon power and sidereal skill is not something you can ignore

It was specifically noticeable in thaemine because there were specific DPS checks where the burst you get from sidereal thirain became very significant in terms of how much easier it made it

As a rough estimate, I think Esther Thirain makes your party maybe 10-15% stronger

I think Saint has calculated somewhere that having an Esther 8 is something between 6-12% stronger damage just in general (and it varies by class)

There’s no usual, it’s whatever works for the class/build and what books the person has

Some people will always cut adrenaline stones because of the 9/7 chance

But yeah, no point in cutting a grudge stone if you have grudge books

Purely for optimisation, classes that can use it can cut adrenaline rocks with cursed doll or hit master or barricade as the 2nd option, because the reverse 9/7 is still useable

Well the skills are similar but there are actually quite significant differences between them too

First and foremost berserker is non-positional

Slayer is back attack

So you will have to get used to that, if you are not familiar with back attack playstyle

Predator is similar to mayhem, but is way more spammy. You don’t have awkward red dust window, and you kind of need to keep hitting the boss in order to maintain your burst mode

Punisher is similar to BT, but your burst mode is a very short burst, compared to BT who goes into burst slower but then has a much longer burst window

And yes right now, slayer - particularly predator, is very strong. But mayhem is also incredibly strong for a non positional engraving

BT has general issues with its play and rotations which is a big reason why people don’t really play it.

I have all my jewelry and the login screen lists the right gear scores for all my characters, but when I open their individual profiles, there's no weapons or gear pieces and a 0 gear score, only the jewelry and stones remain. I've checked roster storage, personal storage, universal storage and pet storage on all characters and my gear is nowhere to be found on seven different characters. so we get 4 mats from brel g1 and g2 = 8. same amount from chests = 16 total. i also get 4 more because of event character i think = 24. is that right? previous week i was unable to craft brel gear with my remaining mats but after doing g1+2 this week i had 59 mats total.. but i swear i had less than 30 last week

You would have received Phantom Intentions and Chaos Stones from the Brel raid. Those are the materials used to make Ancient gear (along with gold).
