infinite chaos dungeon is the biggest waste of time in the game. doing it will actively lead to burnout. that is why the suggestion is to just do something else if you have nothing left to do. lost ark isn't a game for you to just spend hours on once you've played all your characters.

But if you must do it, yes higher chaos dungeon gives more shards
