I mean raiding is something i was very interested in For example I would say that in comparison raiding in wow isnt really gatekeepy until you get to heroic and mythic normal and LFR I was a heroic raider in wow and had no issues myself there. but again Heroic and Mythic are top of the top tier players in the game imo

RIght, the last thing I'll say - possibly the specific issue with Lost Ark is that - raids take time and some people raid a lot. You can quite easily get "jailed" on raids because someone doesn't know the mechanics and wipe the whole raid. So yes, people will select for people who they think will prevent that from happening. That is the basis of gatekeeping

Legion raids require most or all members to do certain mechanics quickly and accurately to avoid a raid wide death. Use lfg to learn it.

I don't think ATK updated his videos with the new gate numbers (Brelshaza used to have 6 gates). So if you're going to watch his videos look for Gates 1, 2, 4, and 6.

There’s a pinned gear progression guide. That should tell you.

You do gates 1 and 2 and buy the boxes from each gate. That will give you enough materials to craft 2 pieces of ancient armor. Hone those pieces until you're 1500 ilvl so you can do gate 3.
