Cards are collected for stat bonuses and to be equipped in sets [alt + c]. I mentioned to claim everything from your Universal Storage earlier, the card set Star of Destiny will be there as well. You’re given this set by completing the main story. Open your card menu [alt + c], and equip those cards by right clicking to add them. It will be a while before you manage to collect endgame card sets such as Light of Salvation for dps or Lostwind Cliff for support. The Star of Destiny card set will be fine until you manage to farm out Deep Dive, then finally move over to an endgame card set.
Important: Do not awaken cards unless you know what you’re doing and never delete cards.

1. he has a shield that you gotta break with weak point skills / destruction bomb

Yeah, you can just do dailies/weeklies and you'll progress just fine.
If you want to speed it up a bit, there's some in-game avenues.
If you want to speed it up a lot, you can spend real money and whale up.

remember you can still do Valtan and Vykas. valtan only need 1445 and vyvas is 1460 for the hard mode for both. they also have normal modes at 1415 and 1430 for both

a good way is to slowly work your way through the guide. You already have a good start with the events thrown at you, so now you can see what you want to do. Generally the daily rotation is chaos/daily unas tasks/guardian raids. Others you can explore on your own

also you have argos which only stops giving gold at 1475. so if you arent 1475, always run argos just for the gold

i did gate 1 pretty easy on my char i didnt like didnt try to go any farther... the mechanics dodging and stuffi m used to from wow raiding

you can get gold from 3 raids. argos doesnt count towards that but argos stop giving gold at 1475 which is when you unlock the 3rd raid. so technically you can do argos and the other 2 raids, then hone to 1475 and do kakul which let you get gold from 4 sources instead of 3

that's gold minmaxing but at this point, they are fresh at the game, not something they might want to do considering they'll have to learn 4 raids..

the worst thing to do with a new player is throw a shit ton of "veteran" level knowledge of minmaxing a start when they're overwhelemed

so just hand them a few guides, tell them to explore with the new systems, and come back with plenty of questions

its a very simple intro raid and can get into parties quite easily with all the people doing card runs. plus alot of those parties dont really care about carrying 1 extra person. although i guess not everyone like the feeling of getting carried and would probably want to do/learn it themselves.

the legion raid entrances depend on your ilvl

so if it's 1482, you have access to valtan (1445), vykas (1460), kuku (1475), while the 1460 only has valtan and vykas

as you gear up you unlock new raids that you can do. each raids have a iLevel requirement which you hone to try to reach that requirement

there is no difference between the jump start mokoko express and the regular mokoko express besides the duration of it

so valtan would be 1415(normal)-1445(hard), vykas would be 1430(normal)-1460(hard), and Kakul(Midnight Circus) would be 1475. Brelshaza is 1490(normal G1-2)-1500(normal g3) and so forth

You can select up to 6 characters on roster to earn gold from Legion Raids, Abyssal Dungeons, and Abyss Raids.
Sources for earning gold:

• Weekly: 3 Legion Raids (including Kayangel Abyss Dungeon) per character
• Weekly: Una Tokens exchange for gold chests
• Earn more tokens the higher ilvl your highest character on roster is
• Gain tokens by completing Daily Una Tasks and Weekly Una Tasks
• Weekly token limit is shared by characters
• You cannot redo daily una on alts but u can complete different ones to gain tokens
• Recommended to exchange for 500 token gold chest for chance at 10k gold
• Adventure Island Gold reward (occurs multiple times per month, gold amount scales with ilvl)
• Fate Ember random drop from Chaos Dungeons/Guardian Raids has a chance of giving gold
• Life Skilling
• Sell tradeable items on Marketplace/Auction House

There should be a guide quest about legion raids, those are the main raids in the game. At your ilvl, you can do Valtan, Vykas, and Kuku. They are major sources of your gold and provide a good amount of mats
