You will always fuse a higher level gem when you fuse three gems of a lower level. Only issue, CDR lv10 gems go for around half the price (or about that) of lv10 dmg gems. So it’s a gamble if you’re gonna get lucky and roll a lv10 dmg that’s worth a lot of gold.

You still gotta do the Elgacia prerequisite quests, then the actual Elgacia quest line.
With the end of Elgacia, the planned story is around 15% complete according to the game’s director.

• Reach item level 1460

1. Whispering Islet: "Whispering Voice" -> "To the Sound" -> "Start of Our Story"

Hey friends, im a returning player that basically capped out my main at 1k ilvl and a few alts ranging from 300-800ilvl and my mains last zone was Yorn? I think?? But basically ive returned and all my dudes have been boosted to 1250, do i still have to do all the worlds on my alts to catch them up? Is knowledge transfer the only way to possibly skip all that content? I wanted to main swap away from my Sorc to something else which is why im curious

you can KT up to the furthest content you've done. you still need to hone but all the gear/mats should be give in chaos dungeons

unless you've done a lot of horizontal/have friends playing too, might be worth switching to jumpstart server

I'll have to read up on the JS servers, i'm not entirely sure what they entail, my only concern would be i have so many 50s on my current server, it would be sorta sad to lose them, but sounds like i'd have to slog through quite a bit of content to even enjoy the current game right now.

With jumpstart and enough time you can use 2 express passes for 2 free level 50 characters and a bunch of other bonuses while diving right into real content. Only risk is the population of your server in lower raids

Unless you've used the events (which I assume you haven't), you can easily boost 2 characters in jump start
