jumpstart is better for catching up and learning the game, progressing pretty quickly

while if you played azena, it would take longer to get to specific progression points, but you do get to play with your friend right away

in jumpstart, you'll be able to play with your friend in 3-6 months

Also having Grudge as an equippable engraving is nice cause when you switch to chaos dungeon build you swamp a useless engraving in CD (Grudge) to a very useful engraving (Preemptive Strike)
