South Vern pass is good and all, but it's only like... 20hrs saved, at most, you can perfectly just play an alt with the Story Express and end up on the same ilv and progression a SV passed char will be, yes JS servers have faster progression blabla, but complaining about it won't give you another pass, and honestly I believe it was a mistake /kind of a bug for them to even allow that pass on the JS server, wanna play an alt? put a bit of effort, no offense, don't be lazy, Gluck and have fun

Noice, thanks. The main one that will probably answer a bunch of others: I just hit level 40 on the character I activated the story express pass on but am only about a 3rd of the way through the progression according to rewards screen thing. A few starter guides I watched seemed to imply that by doing the express and main storyline, it would be a relatively quick journey to max level, way quicker than I seem to have been taking. Ive been doing side missions along the way to get a feel for the game/class and figured any extra rewards couldnt hurt. Is my best way forward to just do the quests with the boxed "!"?

There’s also direct trading and stuff through Mail.

Yes, if you are 1490, you can skip the other raids for now. I would watch a guide on brel 1-2 and learn, be aware that recently brel has changed
You do want to do clown as it gives you materials to upgrade your set, but it's not mandatory for ilvl progression

Story Express is meant to be done manually, everything, up to south vern which is basically endgame, doing it manually and skipping all dialogues takes around 20hrs or so, however, if you care not for the story because fuck it cant be bothered, you can use the powerpass, BUT ALL the rewards from story express will be lost, ALL rewards poof
