@versed sedge first, you need to be trusted in steam in order to be trusted in lost ark, meaning that you wont be able to use market or trade p2p if you are not.
second, kinda hard to ge into groups if you are a new player, having friends makes it easier, but there are also learning communities which can help you on your first run/s, joining a friendly guild (discord community) also helps a lot.
Gatekeeping is the issue, you need job exp. when you can't get a job to get the exp. thus why learning communities (other discords) exist to help newbies
