And then T1 and T2 you breeze through, and T3 is where everyone is at currently content wise

T1, T2 and T3 are all basically "ilvl brackets" for progression

T1 is from 302 ilvl to 600 ilvl, T2 is from 802 ilvl to 1100 ilvl and T3 starts at 1302 ilvl and currently runs up to 1590+ ilvl

T1 and T2 are all 100% success rate for gear enhancement, and with reduced mats and the Chaos Dungeons (a piece of daily content you will be doing a lot) rewards are increased in those sections of the game

T3 is where the real journey begins, but we do have a good deal of catchup systems now which has made it so up to 1460 ilvl does not cost gold per hone and success rates are increased a bit.

Good. Perfect. With that you won't need to upgrade your gear to get through T1 and T2 content, it will simply give you the ilvl gear you need to continue forward. When you finish the Story Express it will also deposit you at 1340 ilvl

And each rarity of the books corresponds to a different point amount that engraving will apply to your character. So for instance the Green books, when you use 20 of them for say Full Bloom on Artist, will give +3 to Full Bloom on your character when you equip it in your Engraving slot. However this gets upgraded with each higher rarity and you have to open them in order so its 20 green books > 20 blue books > 20 purple books > 20 gold books.

Engravings operate under a point system which you need to have a certain number of points in an engraving to even activate it and activate its higher levels up to level 3. 5 points in an engraving is level 1, 10 is level 2 and 15 is level 3.

This is where your Engraving Slots, Ability Stone and Accessories all come into play to activate all of your necessary engravings for your build.

So with the Engraving slots you can choose what engravings you slot in there and they give a set amount of points; so as I explained above if you have unlocked your Full Bloom class engraving books for Artist all the way up to legendary books that will allow you to equip +12 points for Full Bloom in one of your Engraving slots. That means you would only need 1 accessory (in T3) with Full Bloom +3 on it to max it out and get the full level 3 effect.

Ability Stones and Accessories all provide points to engravings and its up to you to figure out how best to distribute them so you can fully build your character.

Absolutely keep honing. Keep doing your Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids, Abyssal Dungeons too (Hard Mode specifically) hit up some of the events daily when they are available (Field Bosses, Chaos Gates, Adventure Islands). Work on horizontal content unlocks as well (Skill Point Potions, Runes) if you haven't already and maybe exhausted your daily sources for honing materials.

If you need Fusion material either look into Stronghold crafting or put gold into them if able to.
