Alright, yeah you're a bit in the deep end. Okay so you're fresh to the game, so I'll preface this by telling you that alts are just going to be a thing. I would highly recommend you starting a fresh character and activate the Story Express on it (you do not need to delete your existing character).

You'll have to manually play through level 10 to 50 and all the story, however this will provide you with a lot of rewards, and more of a learning experience for yourself to get into the game.
