The only way to make it poof like that is from deleting a character that it was on. If you kt or even power pass, it’ll still show it there… but the rewards being unobtainable.

Again you can just go back and do the side quests at a later point. Power pass would instantly clear those for you, but if you're starting a fresh character on a new server I would highly recommend using the Story Express on that new character and manually completing everything.

there are some quest chains that force you to wait 1 day(reset) before you can take the next quest

Are you talking about the price of Spec accessories vs Crit/Swift? It would all depend on your servers economy, but imo buying the books is better in the long run if you run mostly DPS classes in your roster. Trying to compare books to accessory prices is hard cuz it all depends on whatever 2nd engraving your running on it. +5 Grudge +3 Super Charge is dirt cheap even on spec accessories, as an example.

is lost ark still worth playing? I want to get into it but ive seen on steam its mainly p2w now as well as filled with bots...pls somebody prove this wrong

Could be considered p2w, but if you don't care to be "maxed out day 1", it's not really a big deal, since everyone plays at their own pace. It is a massive grind though if you wish to stay completely f2p. This game is meant to be a grindfest, as per the usual Korean MMO genre.

Also doesn't seem very worth being p2w in lost ark. Most other MMOs would allow you to become like an untouchable demigod when you pay enough. In LA, you could pay thousands only to be like 3-4 months ahead in progress of a f2p player.

The story express doesn't speed up or skip any of the story at all, it just rewards you as you play through, so yeah you should get it still since its a regular quest reward

yeah the "express" is misleading. it doesnt speed anything up at all, it just gives you rewards for each continent you complete.

legendary pets no longer gain Expertise, they're max ranked pets, but otherwise they function pretty much the same as leveling pets...

when an Epic pet has reached 100k Expertise, you can upgrade it to Legendary using 30 Pet Ehnahc. Tokens

Legendary Pets have their pet inventory upgraded to have an extra row and they can also change their appearance to another pet that you own

pet upgrading is something you just do passively over time. its not a game changer. just do your daily pet cookie shit and you'll eventually get legendries. the only beneficial thing is an extra pet inventory row if you're low on space. but otherwise they're pretty much the same pets all around

most side quests will usually coincide with where your main quest is anyways, so if you wanna grab em and spend an extra 2 mins in the area, you could, but if you're just trying to speedrun to 50/T3 you can just ignore them

Some (not a lot) give you blue/green engraving books, which become harder to come by in future content. Some green/blue books are worth more than purple on the market lol

but there's literally a guide you can google to which side quest give that if you reeaaally care about that lol

and you can go back and do them once you're endgame lol
