Would a good strategy is having let's say 1 character at 1445 and something like 2-3 others at 1370
Push that 1 character to 1460 and the rest to 1415

alts to 1370 first will increase the materials you get weekly and daily, and gold as well, main at 1445 will let you get relic armors, but if you dont have the materials, that's useless imo

Ultimately - you can see the tradable (ie shareable or sellable) materials your main makes. Every alt you make can potentially make the same at that ilvl. That is the power of alts

It is (I think) unfortunate that the game devolves into how many alts you can practically play, but it is undeniable that the more you have the faster you can push your roster as a whole

So I think at the end of the day, I’d say if you are seriously considering playing the game long term, it’s just a matter of considering how many you can play, and then getting the alts going as soon as possible

you dont, you gotta get new armors and weapon, legendary now instead of blue or purple, Abyss dungeon HARD mode and Argos raid gives you mats to craft them

and yes, unless you do a kind of cheese with argos, you will be lacking 1 piece of legendary armor for the whole 6 set

argos and abyss will give you 3 armors and 2 armors/1 weapon for the whole set, but again, you need to do a cheese strat

1430 is the better spot.

1415 is just suggested because you get access to better chaos dungeons, better guardian raids and valtan. Which are all more enjoyable than buying buses at 1370

you have a bit to go, arthetine, north vern and then shushire, shushire MSQ gives you a box with a set of 302 item level armors, or you can try the chaos dungeon after finishing north vern and pray you get lucky

then you have to hone those armors a bit until 340, then you can go and try abyss dungeon

Player skill/knowledge has a much bigger impact than the class

uhh, in general you keep the extra engraving chests/pouches, but to start off you want to open 20 class engraving books for your class, depending on the spec you want to play (sorcs either go reflux or igniter)

probably your best bet about engravings in general is looking at a guide, probably a visual one on youtube, there are a couple of streamers / ytbers i watch that has good info about them, Saintone, ATK, memorizer98 or Zealsambition

Salvation is not usually preferred though. Gaining stacks on it is annoying and you can also reasonably easily lose them completely

Nightmare is just very very good, with the “only” downsides being that it doesn’t work for classes without mana (smoge) and it won’t work with your ultimate

well, looking at your roster, you have enough item level on your main to get the early t3 honing research on your stronghold, that will help you big time on honing alts to 1370 (which is where you stop all your alts for the moment), first
second, since you were away and blabla they introduced the global honing buff, ALL of them, so its extremely easier to hone from t1 up to t3 1415 (brb)

you can do a total of 3 different legion raids per week for each character, currently it's irrelevant as we only have access to 3.
each character has this limit.
So you can do valtan once per character, vykas once per character, kakul once per character

continuing the quick* guide, you main is good, make all your alts (5 of them, 6 chars total) park at 1370, that's the sweetspot until your main is 1460 for the last research at SH, once your 5 alts are 1370 you gonna hone your main to 1460, then all your alts to 1415, and then you can either 1- hone alts 1430 one at a time, which is the actual best spot for gold weekly, or hone main to 1475 to go and try clown raid on normal difficulty (you can try ez mode at 1385+, still give you some rewards)

one of the main reasons for bc's being so high is just the raw amount of gold ingame.
because the biggest gold sink, honing, is not occuring on such a large scale, because people aren't honing their mains

even though we only had clown last month, we've effectively been in a content drought as most people's mains + main alts were clown ready months before its release, so there was no drive to hone for clown
brelshaza though will bring back mass honing, and a much needed gold drain on the econonmy
