Valtan and Vykas each drop 2 different materials. One is for Relic set ( which you will be able to craft once you reach 1445) the other is legendary mats. Pretty straight forward.

first weeks to speed up on getting relic mats if you so desire (1445+ to actually craft), if that char is gonna be parked at 1415 for a while, or not reaching 1445 anytime soon, probably dont and get the raw gold except for g2 valtan

you need both bones and wings from valtan and vykas to complete relic set. for example 3 gears from valtan mats and 3 gears from vykas mats.

1. really depends on the amount of time you want to invest, and what you're going for in terms of saving up rest bonus and playing alts every other day/every 3 days

2. also depends, since your current main may be close to an itemlevel threshold that unlocks a honing buff research in your stronghold, or your current main may be close to unlocking a new content (eg valtan or vykas)

In what context have you heard re rolling used ? It might be referring to gem re rolling or re rolling classes which means switching your main to a different class usually

Having a hard time finding it but it is either one of the explanation I posted above. To answer your other questions

1. Maintaining multiple alts is fairly easy as there isn’t any sort of “endless grind “ in this game , which means you can get most of your daily “chores” done on 1 character in around 20-45 min . This allows you to focus on alts more . ( there are weekly content that will take longer to clear but they are only once a week per character )
   Also it is better to think of alts as funnels for your main in the short term but also as equal mains in the long term

2. Cut off point depends on a lot of different factors , but just do the research into your class , all classes feel weak and clunky until later into the game where they truly feel fluid and shine .

Ask as many questions as you can and do as much research into the game you can . No question is “dumb” enough to not ask 😀

no, but they have to have visited for a merchant to spawn, if that makes sense. merchants only spawn when the stronghold owner visits and one is available to spawn

They disabled your keyboard for accepting queues. This was a QoL update because people were complaining that they would accidently Enter or Esc a queue to accept/deny.

So now you just have to click on the Accept/Deny button with your mouse
